ABOUT NTY FC

The Seacoast Region is an incredible development arena for aspiring young soccer players. For the past 40 years, youth clubs, Olympic development programs, high schools, private schools, and local universities and colleges continue to compete at the highest levels, proving that NH is a powerhouse for soccer development. The NTY FC strives to contribute to the development of young children into competitive athletes for programs throughout the Seacoast area. We believe that you are Never Too Young to find a passion.

OBJECTIVE

The summer soccer program will offer an introduction to soccer, with a unique
nutrition program component, in a casual family environment. The NTY Football Club will
create an opportunity for young families with children 3-4 years old to take part
in a program that promotes athletics and academics.

DETAILS

Age Group:

At 3-4 years old attention span is limited, so parent participation is highly recommended and encouraged. Players are encouraged to wear cleats, but shoes are welcome. Shin pads are optional.

Schedule & Registration:

July 7th - August 25th

Sundays 3:30pm – 4:30pm (no session July 21st)

The program will be limited to 20 kids. A completed sign-up form and waiver are required and must be submitted before the first practice. See below.

Fee:

$80 per family. NTY FC, LLC is a non-profit club and the fee will go towards equipment, nutrition lesson materials, and a NTY FC soccer jersey. All additional proceeds will be donated to Mass Eye and Ear and the Seacoast Cancer Center.

Location and Parking:

The recreation field is located between the Strafford County Complex (259 County Farm Road Dover, NH) and the Pope Memorial Humane Society buildings. There is a small parking lot at the field location.

Weather Instructions:

We play rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, including thunder or lightning, practice will be delayed or canceled. You will be notified of any changes or modifications to the practice schedule.

Meet the NTY Team

Coach Matt

Matt LaBarre

The LaBarre family has a long history of involvement with New Hampshire sports. Matt was selected to the High School All American Soccer Team and was also an All-State Basketball and Baseball Player. Matt studied sociology at Dartmouth College and captained the men’s soccer team. He was also invited to play for the Regional and National team pools. Matt has obtained all necessary licenses to coach through USA Youth Soccer governing board and Grass Roots Soccer.

Assistant Coach, Chase

Chase LaBarre

With 3 years of NTY FC experience under his belt, Chase will join the 2024 season as an assistant coach. He has participated with the Garrison City FC for 3 years, first with the Wee kickers program, now at the Academy level. Outside of soccer, he enjoys playing at the park, going to the gym, skiing and swimming.

Coach Tina - Dietitian

Tina LaBarre

Tina received her bachelor’s degree in nutrition & food science from the University of Vermont. She completed her master’s degree and dietetic internship at Framingham State University. Tina has worked as a clinical dietitian in the hospital, rehabilitation, and long-term care settings. As a mom to 3 young kids, Tina also has a passion for health promotion in children. Outside of work, she enjoys playing golf, hiking, skiing, and running. Tina is a proud member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Six03 Endurance running club.
